The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated today (2nd) that as of 11:40, it had detected 12 sorties of various primary and auxiliary CCP fighter aircraft, including J-16s and Y-8s, engaged in sea-faring activities, 10 of which crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and extended into our northern, central, and southwestern airspace to conduct "joint combat readiness and patrols" with CCP warships. The Armed Forces adopted combined intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance measures to maintain strict vigilance, and dispatched mission aircraft, warships, and shore-based missile systems to respond accordingly.
